Room One – Strauss
The Strauss Room is a super king room with ensuite bathroom. It features French doors leading onto the verandahs and has a delightful view of the beautiful Maitai River, both from the bed and from the verandahs. Decorated in golds and soft beige, this is a very quiet, peaceful room.

On the same side of the house, the Beethoven Room has two sets of French doors leading onto the verandahs. It also has a wonderful view over the river and down into the English gardens. This queen/twin room has a queensize bed and a single bed and has a private bathroom down the hall.

Featuring a sunny bay window with a full ensuite bathroom, this room gets full morning and afternoon sun. It has a king and single bed, perfect for people travelling together but needing separate beds. This room is on the street side, but has a lovely view up towards the "Center of New Zealand" (Botanical Hill).

Another delightful room, this queen with ensuite is located towards the center of the house and away from the river and street. Access on to the verandahs is via the door on the upstairs landing. This room, is decorated in soft beige and cream tones, and exudes character and charm.

Schubert is our only ground floor bedroom. It has a queen bed, ensuite bathroom and features a lovely sunny bay window with window seat. Richly decorated in cream and navy, it has a very soothing and peaceful effect on the weary traveller. As this room is on the ground floor it has been adapted for guests requiring wheelchair access.
